Valor Mold Removal

We had a great experience with Valor -- David is a total pro and we were in great hands, thanks to his expertise. He assured us that issue we thought we might have in our bathroom was actually not a concern and he provided some great tips to help keep moisture issues in that bathroom at bay. Valor came out initially to conduct an air quality test to help us determine the next step for a smell in our basement. David and technician Charles were very professional and knowledgeable and advised us of our options. We decided to have a section of our basement wall around a window well removed where the smell was strongest, as well as the carpet - all under Valor's containment/remediation protocol. Technicians Charles, Ronnell, and Mikey were prompt, courteous, and diligent. They found an area around the window well that, while not apparently moldy, was stained from water trapped due to poor drainage. They thoroughly cleaned the foundation wall and left the basement ready for new flooring and drywall. They also conducted a post-remediation air quality test that came back clear! We appreciate how easy it was to schedule the work, how responsive everyone is, and how thorough the crew was in their work. We would definitely recommend Valor Mold to anyone.

I hesitated to use Valor Mold because they were 2 – 3 times more expensive than the other estimates I received, but David, the owner, convinced me that they would do the job correctly and thoroughly to safely get rid of the mold and prevent future problems. They totally did. And the money was worth it. Just based on time alone, the other companies estimated they would be done in 3 – 4 days. Valor Mold spent 3 weeks working hard and being thorough. By the end of the project, testing showed that the mold was well within normal limits and thus the problem was completely resolved. Milton, the crew leader, communicated well. He kept me informed, listened when I had concerns, and explained things when I had questions. His team, included Mikey and others who were all polite and worked hard. The team was flexible when work was delayed by the discovery of rotten joists. Mikey stayed on site as another contractor repaired the joists; he made sure that all mold-damaged wood was removed or properly treated before they continued. When those repairs were completed, Valor adjusted their schedule to complete the job quickly, so that the remodeling company could get started. Lois and others in the front office were also friendly, helpful, and responsive. I would choose Valor Mold again, and I highly recommend them.

During one of the most challenging seasons of our life, Valor Mold came in and alleviated a heavy burden and some extreme stress from our experience. We had a major chain company come to our home for remediation and they failed to set up proper containment- among other issues- which worsened the health of our home and air quality. We went in search of a second remediation company to come in and fix what the first company caused and also failed to fix initially. Joey from Valor came out to assess the house and discuss the situation. He was so professional, so kind, and such an amazing listener. Unfortunately, those qualities are extremely hard to find in hired contractors! Communication is so important and Joey was easily accessible by phone or text and the office at Valor was responsive via phone and email. Throughout the process, Joey showed up when he said he would show up. He was thorough and went the extra mile with his work ethic- it was clear that he had integrity and skill within his profession. He offered to help above and beyond what our insurance would reimburse for and even offered to “clean up” our attic at no additional cost as it was not going to be covered by insurance. He saw us. He heard us. He knew we were feeling sickly in our home and that we were in need of help. Every chance that I get, I recommend Valor Mold Removal- and I will continue to do so! I sure hope that we never need remediation (especially to the extent of issues we had in our home) but if we do, we know who to call.
