DICK'S Sporting Goods

Extremely rude service by an employee who insulted me for simply walking in between her and another employee (5ft apart). She was oblivious to the fact she was standing in the main entrance blocking the way. These young entitled brats do not understand it is our purchasing that pays for their job and salary. I was going to spend some money today here but decided not to give them my business or money. Very disappointed.

Shopped in here numerous times over the years. Customer service is always sparse but good. This place is always stocked with the best outdoor gear, tumblers, canoes, and all outdoor supplies you could need(within reason).

O’Riley is truly the best Sales Associate! This gentleman was kind enough not only to provide directions and later help me find the balance (yoga) ball, but also inflated it with no charge! My chiropractor suggested using the yoga ball to soothe my 20lbs baby to sleep and it was such a good advice, so I went to the closest Dick’s to get an amazing help by Mr. O’Riley. Truly appreciate O’Riley’s kindness!!

Something is not right here. My family usually enjoys shopping at Dick’s for sporting goods because of the wide selection and pleasant environment. However, our experience today at the Gaithersburg Rio store was disappointing, and I’d like to share it in hopes it can be improved. I was shopping for baseball cleats for my son, but it was very difficult to find assistance in the section. Often, there were no staff around, or the only staff member present was already occupied. A few employees were standing far away but not engaging with customers. When I finally managed to get the attention of one staff member, he seemed reluctant to help. After I explained what I needed, he said someone would bring the shoes, but no one ever came. After waiting 15 minutes, I had to track down another employee and explain the situation all over again. Even then, the wait continued, as the staff member was delayed by another customer. Ultimately, we left without finding a suitable pair of cleats. Throughout the entire visit, no one greeted us or proactively offered assistance. The lack of attentiveness and customer service made the experience very frustrating.

Typical Dick’s, minus the crowds. Very clean and huge. And they have everything. All at exorbitant prices. They even have an entire section dedicated to water bottles. $25 for the small one. Accessible ♿️.
