Very Disappointed – Worst Store to Shop at Dick’s Fair Oaks, VA. This experience truly left me upset. We had a 20% off coupon that had no restrictions listed for North Face products—not on the coupon and not even on their website. I went in to buy a North Face backpack for my daughter, excited to surprise her with something she really wanted. At checkout, I handed the coupon to Leena. She scanned it, and when I asked if it worked, she smiled and said yes. I also used my $10 reward without thinking to double-check the total. Later, when I looked at the receipt, I realized the 20% discount wasn’t applied. When I brought it up to Leena, she seemed confused and said she hadn’t realized some items are “locked” and ineligible for discounts. A supervisor nearby quickly stepped in and said that North Face products are restricted by the manufacturer, so they can’t apply any coupon to them. I explained that the lack of clarity was incredibly misleading, and kindly asked them to honor the discount since I was told it worked. But they refused. No apology. No effort to make it right. I left feeling taken advantage of—and honestly, really disappointed. I was just trying to do something nice for my daughter. Maybe it’s just this location, but the lack of empathy and poor customer service really ruined the experience. I hope others are more careful, and that the store reconsiders how it communicates these restrictions to avoid misleading people in the future.

I had a great experience at this store. The staff was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They took the time to help me find the right HOKA shoes and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Excellent customer service — I’ll definitely come back!

To the pink hairs girl with glasses… please do better. You were no help at all, your energy and dismissiveness almost had me cancel my order. Came here on 12/31/25 me and my daughter, she had brought a used pair of Hokas from here never wore them but whomever returned them did. Well she wanted to return them we waited in line and got called by Grace who was rude and didn’t want to return them, I advocated for my daughter finally Grace got confirmation from another young lady and said ok, she threw the pen to my daughter to sign and was rude no customer service at all! We will never return to this Dicks!

Just checked out and couldn’t even leave the store without writing a review. Emma was AMAZING! She was completely transparent and helped us find exactly what we needed at a great deal! We’ll be back and are so grateful for Emma’s knowledge and friendly attitude!! Thank you again!
