Both my husband and I were interested in taking pickleball lessons together but weren’t sure whether to join a group or schedule private sessions since our skill levels are quite different. Coach Cuong recommended a private lesson so he could tailor the session to each of our needs—and we’re so glad we took his advice! He customized the instruction perfectly for both of us, making sure we each learned techniques suited to our current level. We left the lesson with so much valuable information and a clear path to improve our game. We’re already planning to book more lessons to continue building our skills.

PHENOMENAL coach! Had so much fun, I played a few times before but hadn’t learned the basics like I did today. The basics are fundamental! I feel so much more confident to step into a pickle ball game and to be present to my form. My bf said “I would have him be my coach if I wanted to go pro!” We’re just having fun for now (:

Coach Cuong and his girlfriend Linda were awesome! My wife, her sister, and I were 15 minutes late because we were coming from an event in Glendale, and had our lessons in Tustin. But Coach Cuong was great at giving instruction, being patient with us, was very knowledgeable, and was quick to diagnose our issues at various aspects of the game. He also invites you to play with other of his peers, so that you can improve and utilize your practiced skills. He is flexible and responsive. I was visiting the area for a few weeks and thought I’d take a pickleball lesson. Chong was very efficient and fit a lot of coaching into one hour… but I wanted more, so I took another class a few weeks later, and again, it was very helpful and fun! I would highly recommend anyone take a lesson with Cuong!!
