William Penn Park Pickleball Court

Easy to drive or walk to. Swings, play structure, nice pickleball court (w/bball hoop), "grassy" field, and paved walking trail running through length of park. *Unfortunately since covid the bathroom has been boarded up* No functioning drinking fountain/no water. The field used to be nice for laying in the sun, to read or picnic...but this year it's very sparse greenery and quite lumpy so watch your step and bring a thick blanket or pad to sit on, haha. I love the eagle chair tree stump. So fire.
Nice park to walk through. The bathrooms and drinking fountain are not operational, but the pickleball courts are in use all the time! I believe the court also just got a new net and paint job. The large-sized field is also a plus. If you are looking for a playground, go up north to Stipek Park. William Penn Park's playground is not that exciting. The swing set here is nice, though.
Recently resurfaced the court and put a Pickleball net in. The court is set up east/west so the sun can be an issue on a clear day.
Nice new Court but would seem they spent the money on one pickleball court & neglected the drinking water & toilets for some reason 🤔
Can't really call it a pickleball court, but it is mostly used for that. Local park for kids but the playground is a bit dated (lots dated). No bathrooms anymore. Field can be a bit swampy and loca people let their dogs off leash...other than that, it's great!
