The Lawndale Club

The pool is closed or limited all the time, and the app is never updated and they never share when it’s closed with anyone. Why have an app and a calendar and not update it? 1/3 times we’ve been this summer the pool has been closed or 1/2 closed. It’s also been closed for weather several other days. We used to get emails, but the only one we got this year had the wrong schedule for opening. The pool isn’t worth it for anyone who works, the swim lessons are in the morning. It’s open midday, but once there is thunder—they close. So it’s not open at night even if the storm passes through. The snack shack used to be affordable, but now the prices have gone up—it’s 5x the cost to get an ice cream this year than last year. We’re certainly exploring more options. To top it all off they offered legacy pricing, saying returning members would get a deal on pricing, but offered new memberships for $200 less. The club has gone nothing but downhill since it was purchased.

A great, low -key swim club with an ideal family atmosphere. Tennis programs, the Lawndale Lizards swim team, and group and private swim lessons are nice options. There's also a very nice clubhouse with ping pong and Foosball, and The Dive In for icecream and snacks. A great place for parties, too.

Clean, great family place. Affordable. Not crowded.

Very nice pickleball courts, but their problem is the courts are tight with no fences between the courts. Add that, and it's perfect. Membership prices are very reasonable for what it includes. Night lighting is awesome.
