SPORTIME Pickleball Westbury

I play Yes pickleball at SPORTIME In Westbury. It is the safest designed Picketlebsll facility on the East Coast. The players are friendly and cover 2.5-3.5. Most of all,, all the people that partake in the open 10 to 12 on Sunday are wonderful to play with and we all are decent players. Lisa, the manager, is outstanding as well as Sue who coordinates the play on Sundays. I have compared Westbury to many other facilities who do not hold a candle to the design and safety of the courts. For all the older players, it is always best to be safe than sorry. Play where it is safe. Also, if any of you want to learn how to play pickleball, I’m watched the coaches teach beginners of all ages. They are also well experienced. You are never too old to learn! The facilities themselves are lovely for pickleball, however, we booked a one hour session online for a whopping $60. Okay, whatever, I get it…. But then upon arriving, we were charged another $5 each for a “guest fee” that wasn’t mentioned in the online booking. So $70 for one hour… ridiculous!

I play here very often. Couple of Fridays ago I forgot my paddle after playing a late evening game . Called him the next morning to see if they had it in the Lost and Found section which they said they did not, but said the manage will call me back, which never did. A few days later, I stopped by and saw my paddle On the loaner rack. I asked the person on the counter if I could see it as it belongs to me and she completely refused and said once again, the manage will call me and never did. Obviously that panel is mine, but they are refusing to give it back.

I feel so lucky to be part of the Women’s League and to learn from the amazing Lisa Scotti — not only a top-notch manager but also a true professional. My pickleball journey at Sportime Westbury has given me a real sense of belonging — it’s been exciting and rewarding from the very start. Lisa has been absolutely incredible. In addition to running the Women’s League, she even set up a separate court just to teach us proper techniques and always pays attention to every little detail. You can really tell she cares and genuinely wants everyone to improve. Every class with her is fun, energetic, and totally unique. Lisa dedication over the past six weeks is the reason the Westbury Women’s League came together so smoothly. Thanks to her (also Olga F~one of the player who arranges the match)— I’ve met so many great players and this amazing mix of people from all walks of life — now have a group of friends I get to practice and play with regularly. I honestly look forward to Mondays and Wednesdays each week — can’t wait to hit the court, break a sweat, and just have a blast playing pickleball. I’ve also joined the monthly Happy Hour events, which are part of the members’ perks — each one has a fun, creative theme, and Lisa brings it all to life with her passion and enthusiasm. It’s the perfect combo of social fun and light competition. The facility at Sportime is excellent — brand new, super clean, great lighting, and fully equipped whether you’re training hard or just playing for fun. And the front desk team — Wisely, Dennis, Michael, Tyler,Richard and Lia G — always friendly, helpful, and professional. If you’re looking for a great coach, a modern and welcoming facility, and an inspiring pickleball community, I highly recommend Sportime Westbury! 💥🏓💪

I love this facility. Well laid out, high ceilings, sound level low, courts are easy on my body and friendly staff. I'm a 3.5+ player and needed help transitioning into a 4.0. i recently took a lesson with Lisa Scotti at the facility and left elated. I've been playing for a few years and have taken many lessons... All have been helpful but after one lesson with Lisa i feel like my dupr went up. Lol. She quickly assessed our play and got to work. She is very direct, precise, knowledgeable and confident. I will also add patient and personable. I left the with better foot work and more power in my returns and serves. Highly recommended.
