SPORTIME Pickleball Wayne

I highly recommend Sportime Pickleball facility in Wayne. It boasts 18 cushioned courts, and the staff and coaches are exceptional. The matches are well-organized, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. I also met many friendly people, which fostered a strong sense of community.

Ok. So I'm going to be 70 years old (how did that happen?) and I've heard wonderful things from my fellow seniors about how great pickleball is so I thought I'd give it a try. The first thing that struck me was how neat and clean the place is....the second, how courteous, patience, and knowledgeable the staff are. I was given a tour, all my questions were answered, and I signed up for an intro class. Coach Chris was great and even though I bumbled my way through trying to remember everything I had a great time (who keeps score with 3 numbers?). Last night I went to a two hour "newbie night" where I not only got to play with different people at my own level but received some helpful tips from the staff who were on the ball watching us, looking for an opportunity to help me improve my game (much appreciated). This morning I was the only person who signed up for a beginners clinic. Rather than cancel the session, Rebecca coached me one on one for and hour. I know she runs the place (and does a great job) but what an awesome coach! I have found nothing lacking here. If your considering learning to play pickleball or just looking for a place to play. I highly recommend Sportime.

Sportime Pickleball in Wayne is honestly the best spot around. The courts are super clean, the vibe is always fun, and everyone there just makes you feel welcome. Big shoutout to Rebecca and Vince, they’re both awesome!!!! Rebecca’s always super nice and keeps everything running smooth, and Vince has the best energy. You can tell they really care about the players and make the whole place feel like a community. If you’re into pickleball or even just getting started, definitely check this place out. You’ll end up staying longer than you planned because it’s that good.

Unfortunately this is one of the worst Pickleball facilities to play at ..Tonight i signed up for an event , not sure of the skill sets of the other players , turns out most were new or only played few times , During our games i was trying to help my teammates with scoring , serves always being nice and helpful while encouraging them on . We switched courts and my partner missed ball i said that was your side .well Rebecca jumped off her chair ran on the courts screaming at me in front of the others on the court . She then said well i didn’t see what side ball was on.also she said ill run the tapes i was perplexed what for a play . We are not in a tournament she was just upset that i was trying to help the people she was not she targeted me .. . she then said next time play up level and if you want to play here don’t give others advise , mind you there were 30 people who needed guidance i was just being nice . After i was done playing i told her you are unprofessional she again started screaming..the women i was playing with told her she was unprofessional and that they wanted to play with me ..I have never been treated so badly by a business for no reason .i want corporate to roll the tapes to see her running at me for a play .. maybe if the people playing had more guidance instead of Rebecca sitting on her chair on her computer instead of helping this would not have happened .. also i cant play up a level because every time i sign up it’s cancelled due to not enough participation..not my issue seems like theirs .her display of unprofessional behavior should be investigated and let’s all watch the tapes I cancelled my membership and will never step foot in that facility again.. from the looks of it they can’t afford to lose Clients ..someone should teach her customer service and retention without customers their is no business..stay clear

I joined Sportime in Wayne in November 2025 and enjoyed playing in such wonderful club. Rebecca Ryan, pickelball director, is kind, knowledgeable and an amazing instructor. I feel that I made the right decision to join Sportime in Wayne.
