The Spokane Club Valley location is my "go to" spot for playing tennis in Spokane year round. It's got a very fun and supportive tennis community and staff, and the facilities are pretty nice and clean. The weight room and exercise class areas are quite nice and offer many exercise classes. The indoor pool and spa area is nice and clean, and different pool exercise classes are offered. There are also very nice tennis pros to available for fairly reasonable cost lessons. My only reservations about giving a 5 star review are that the tennis courts could use more frequent cleaning to pick up the excess ball felt that can get stuck to one's tennis shoes. And, the locker rooms are a bit dated, but always clean.
This club has the best gym experience I've EVER had, ...and I'm no stranger to the gym. I've now been a member for a full year and The Spokane Club clearly beats all of the other, dozens, of gyms I've EVER been to, by a land slide! I was just reflecting on my experience there and realized I needed to tell the world that this club has been worth every penny spent! I'm in the best shape of my life, high on life, and a big factor has been the fact that I actually enjoy going there! I now look forward to my gym time for a long list of reasons including; the AMAZING staff who clearly love their jobs, the other happy and friendly members, top of the line equipment, locker room networking, great, affordable food, etc, etc, etc, etc... This is the last gym I ever join. If you're at the point in your life that you're looking into joining, I highly recommend checking it out. It's a game changer!
This review is for the Spokane Club in the Valley - not downtown. I've been a member here for around 4 years - I use the valley club almost exclusively. Keep in mind, the valley is WAY different than the downtown club. The downtown club is not my scene - a bit too swanky for this guy! Fortunately, the valley club isn't as much of a "club" as it is a gym. The locker rooms are very dated. I don't expect much, but considering what the club costs per month, they get a 2/5. They gym is pretty nice. There are 3 racquetball courts and 2 squash courts. Similarly, there are 4 indoor tennis courts and a couple of outdoor tennis courts - I don't play, but they appear to stay pretty busy most of the time. I don't use the courts, so I won't rate them. There is also a pool, but I've never used it - so no vote there either. The gym portion is broken into an upstairs and downstairs. In addition to a free weights and machines, there are a couple of rooms where spinning/yoga classes take place. The upstairs is mostly cardio equipment. There are 5 treadmills, 7 elliptical machines, 7 bikes, a few stair machines, and a couple of rowing machines. My only issue is that when a machine breaks down, it takes weeks to get fixed. With the maintenance issue, the gym gets 4/5. The staff is very friendly. They tend to be younger individuals - I've never had a bad experiences, 5/5. Overall, the valley is a good place to workout and I would recommend it a 4/5 stars!
It's a Courtyard, and one of the best. To me, that means clean, comfortable and friendly, helpful staff. The close proximity to the river walk is a really nice extra. Across the street from the convention center and close to numerous restaurants.
Amazing, had never been there before, it was so nice lots of activities for you and your family got try it out
