SOS Pickleball

“Tried Pickleball Once… Now at SOS Every Week” I’d only played pickleball once before coming to SOS and TBH thought I’d embarrass myself. Baltimore has some serious players, and I was just hoping not to launch the ball into another court. Everyone at SOS was so friendly! Super chill, zero judgment, and actually happy to help you learn without making it awkward. Open play nights are only $7 right now, which is the cost of latte and way more fun than a treadmill. There’s usually a coach around, plus regulars who’ll offer tips and encouragement. My company also hosted a private event here with great music, solid food, and plenty to do even if you’re “taking a break” like pool, ping pong, darts, and foosball. Big shoutout to Jimmy, one of the co-founders, who somehow remembers everyone’s name and makes the place feel like a real community hub. You can tell he’s building something special for the neighborhood. If you’re nervous to try pickleball, start here. You’ll walk in cautious and walk out fully converted wearing a new tennis skirt, breaking in a personal paddle, and refreshing your email hoping the replay caught your best move.

It’s not just Pickleball!!!! They have a pool table, ping pong table, darts, AND 2 LOUNGE areas! the kitchen and bar will be open by December! All of the play areas are pod play and autonomous, offering playback features on the tvs as well (you can watch your games back!) and the guys that own it are awesome. There are TVs in the lounges and ping pong/dart rooms where they play sports/ Ravens games. Get here early!!! I guarantee it’s going to get busy once everyone finds out! My friend and I had a fantastic experience here. We initially rented a table tennis court. They have actual rubbered paddles that aren't just cheap wooden ones. There we plenty of quality balls lined up and easy for us to access. The table seemed new and clean. The room was private so we had it all to ourselves. We met the owner and he was such a gracious and generous host. He allowed us to use the last 30 minutes of our reservation to switch over the pickle ball court at no extra cost and gave us an excellent rundown of their scoring system. They have buttons on the walls of each side of the court that you simply press when you win a rally and their system automatically tracks the scores and displays it on the TV. It was so simple and convenient! On top of all that, they have an instant replay system! All the replays get sent to your account that you use to reserve the court after you finish. Lastly, it was the court reservations were fairly priced and affordable, specially if you are splitting it with people. I HIGHLY recommend this place. It is a great place to play for people of all levels and experience. Their system makes it super easy for beginners to learn the rules and they also have coaching staff. Such a great addition to the area and it's right next to the new speak easy so you can get some drinks before or afterwards for a fun night out.

We had a birthday party here, it was so fun! We had no pickleball experience but they had an experienced coach ready to help us out with any questions we had. A great intro to the game and a fun place to have a party!! The inside is also gorgeous and pleasant.

It’s a great environment here. Great competition, people are very friendly. They also have training classes here if u want to practice certain areas. Jimmy( owner) is the best very helpful I highly recommend this place
