Nice playground right next to PS 123 on East Broadway. Looks like it's newly renovated. There are two sections of the playground. One side has swings and the other has slides. There's a single stall men and single stall women bathroom. The men one even has a changing table. There is no toilet paper in women bathroom, not even a toilet paper holder.
i like the small play area for my 2yr old granddaughter but unfortunately after 3pm during school days it becomes a little to much. you have the school kids who are much older cursing & running around & not being mindful of the little ones. i take her around 12 and leave by 2pm before the older kids come out to avoid any accidents.
I was born and raised in the Hill, Vladecks. And I worked for HSS MOW. So my connection is inspiring, to see the changes, but the neighbors still make it feel like home. By the way I go to Betances for my health.
Basketball courts, space to play tennis and kickball, swings, sprinklers, a jungle gym, and bathrooms. The kids love this park. Just don't hang out there too late.
It's a very good park to take your kids and the park very clearn too.
