Siwanoy Country Club

There are hundreds of golf courses around NYC & NY. But there is one golf course that has so much history and that’s Siwanoy. In 1916 they played the first PGA Championship at this course. The beauty and setting of the club house and the design of the course by Donald Ross is spectacular. It also has family history for our family. My uncle Terry Wilcox from ADA, OK was the Director and Head Pro back in the 70’s. He was a touring pro out of Siwanoy. So Siwanoy has not only golf history, it has family history.
Offers famed golf course, swimming, summer camp, tennis and paddle courts. Many events hosted in the country club. Food and service is always outstanding. There are rooms availaible for guests too! They have been making lovely updates throughout the club. Membership fees with different options.
Lunch or Brunch or a late repast , it's always great food, good drinks & a warm & knowledgeable staff. This is a special place where our family can get together to eat, drink & be merry. So grateful my endlessly, entertaining father in law & his beautiful wife invite us to spend precious time together. Cheers & L'chaim !
Great friendly staff, great service. Never had any issues here! Don't believe any false accusations by the media or a particular individual who thinks she can use her followers to destroy the reputation of a business.
I saw the other (1) review and thought I should add my (2) cents. First of all, Siwanoy is not a restaurant, it's a country club. A golf club. A place where one plays golf. Yes, there is a dining room and a grill room but you don't review a ski area by talking solely about the cafeteria so why....? That said, Siwanoy was the site of the first PGA Championship in 1916 and was designed by famed architect, Donald Ross. Originally a tight test of golf, thousands of trees have recently been removed to open the layout. Tough, fast greens. This track is not for beginners.
