Saline Recreation Center

Great place, awesome people. Yes, the City of Saline could afford to spend some money here toward maintaining the facility a bit better. Not sure why the city does not better support this gem. This is a popular facility with lots of community use and support. Great staff that works hard for the community and offers a wide variety of programs, classes, and workout equipment and two typically busy pools. Also have early morning and evening hours (except Sunday) to accommodate various schedules. Very glad to have this facility and team available to us. Hoping the City will show it a bit more love.

great family rec center. staff is always friendly

I give it 2 because they do keep it clean and have programming for little ones. But this place is insanely out of date and embarrassing. It will take you back to the 80s. Showers are old and weak. Smallish weight room. One semi flat swiss ball. Its kind of like an old YMCA. They keep patching it up but we need new rec center.

Equipment is old for the free weights and machine weights. They are rusting and deteriorating badly. They actually are probably getting dangerous to use as they are so awful and someone will probably get hurt soon, and it’s clear the staff take no pride or care for them. The treadmills aren’t that bad though. The pools are decent and the basketball courts are usually overcrowded but decent. Overall the place is aging badly but the location and parks and trails around it are very good. Staff is friendly too.

Nice park to enjoy with the family a picnic, baseball field, soccer ball field , playground and place for walk around the park.
