Roosevelt Island Pickleball Courts

We love the courts. They are excellent. The only down side is that people will try to "reserve" courts even though that is not allow ( per court regulations posted outside) . Today a lady approached us saying that they have the courts reserved every Tuesday- Thursday from 9- noon. A group of approximately 10 people waiting for an instructor to teach them a lesson. I read the regulations online and it specifically says that courts shall not be reserved. The lady told us to leave or to join them in a very demanding way. Also, she inquired if we lived on the island. This type of hostile behavior is what pickleball is not about. We are all here coming together at RI to play the sport and stay active.
