The reason I gave one star is that the courts are reservable. Almost everyday 7-9pm are reserved by the people who paid extra. Those people are so proud to tell others who wanted to play on the courts : “ these courts are reserved because we paid.” Even though they only played on one court. Shame on the city of Oviedo and those who reserved the courts. If the public courts, which were built with tax paid by residents, could be reserved by people who paid extra, then it’s not the pickleball. Pickleball promotes friendly, fair and enjoyable environments for residents. However, the court reserve system prevents residents to enjoy the courts and created an unfair and hostile atmosphere on the public court. Come on, city of Oviedo, you can do a better job for your residents to enjoy the pickleball by creating a fair court using system instead just collecting more money.
Ok, so we are new to the pickleball craze, but they have 10 courts painted out! Bring your own nets and you can play any time. There are some scheduled times. Let's go!!
The park is amazing, they did a wonderful job fixing it. The downside is that everybody hogs the tennis courts living no chance for others to enjoy. too many selfish individuals, Indian people love to hang out at the tennis courts not necessarily to play tennis.
Plenty of courts painted out, paint and court in good condition, but they are Bring-Your-Own net. No net, no pickleball - only tennjs otherwise.
