was just there for an AAU tournament today. the court surface is terrible get hardwood. i saw you reply to another person saying the NBA uses that surface. they dont use that for ANY professional games ANYWHERE. the ball does not bouce the same. the tiles absorb some of the force.. also my son and i noted that the floor was very dusty and had a wear feel when running and cutting.. the seating is terrible. the space is small and uncomfortable when you have back to back games and the other team is inside waiting for their game. the entrance to the court is a bottleneck. the ticket person had small space to set up and the line out the door because theres no where else wait. thank goodness it wasnt raining. not sure why they even chose this place to have games.
My daughter said the basketball didn't bounce right on the floor. Seating is minimal for tournaments. Bathrooms were very clean.
The courts are great. The facility is bright and inviting. The only things preventing this from being a five star facility in my book is not enough seats, not a big enough doorway/entryway, and not enough parking. Extra parking is available at Veltre's but crossing the road is very unsafe with the speeds most cars travel past the facility.
This facility is awesome. It is a state of the art building with basketball, soccer, & volleyball courts. We booked a birthday party event and it was such a great time. Very clean, easy access and lots of parking.
This is a fantastic indoor complex that offers many sports options, including basketball courts, volleyball courts, futsal courts and 7v7 soccer fields. We are there several times a week for Cup Soccer practices and the facility is always clean and the building is very well maintained! Located close to Lower Burrell, New Kensington, Plum, and Oakmont makes it an easy place to gather for practices, games, or even for a birthday party.
