Pioneer Park Pickleball Courts

Pioneer Park is a hidden gem. There are birds from all over the world in the aviary pens. The bronze tree branch is quite an amazing feat. Other historical tributes can be found throughout the park also.
These pickleball courts are in great condition and are well maintained. Someone usually comes first thing in the morning and blows the leaves off the courts, since the courts are surrounded by large trees that give lots of shade. The courts are well used and can be crowded, but you can usually find a game or someone will let you play with their group. Highly recommended!
We went on a Sunday morning and it was very nice out so it was crowded. All the courts were full but there was also a party happening. 6 courts total
Just great to get out and play after so long away from the game due to a bad hip. Cold but the game and played there took all of the chill away quickly and we played for about an hour and a half. It is a quick ebbing game you get in even when waiting, fairly fast. Also we played 3 player cut throat waiting for next game. It worked out real well and, like i said the people make it as fun as it is. Pioneer park courts are real nice and they provide a push broom for leaves so we cleaned it nicely.
Great courts, which draws a lot of players. That being said, doubles play take precedence over singles play. It's an unwritten rule that was kindly explained to me one day. Many skill levels are on display and fun to watch if you're just getting into Pickleball.
