Mostly nice friendly folks to play with. I like that 4 of the courts are designated as friendly and 4 designated as competitive. Each set has a paddle rack system for those waiting. If you are visiting and not sure, please ask how things work before putting your paddle in line. This is a very nice place to play and can get pretty busy on weekend days and after 4-5pm on weekdays. Cupertino Park District just redid the lines on 4 of the courts, so that is great. There are bathrooms right behind the bleachers.

There were 8 courts and there was a system to get in line so teams can rotate in to play. There were people at different levels and we got there when there were open courts so we’re were able to grab a court and play so I’m not sure about the peak wait times. People are friendly and willing to ask/play doubles if you are looking for opponents.

Cupertino Memorial Park Pickleball location has 8 courts, 4 of the nets belong to city of Cupertino, and 4 belongs to Cupertino Pickleball Club. CPC volunteers help tape the courts and repair any net damages, so the condition of the court is very good. There is open play from 7:30am until lights out in the evening. Busy time is usually around 9am to 12pm, and from 6pm to lights out. Super friendly people, beginner to advanced players are all welcome. Cupertinos Park and Recreation will post new rules on August 19th, 2024 to move the pickleball trial at Memorial Park to official pickleball use. There are 4 friendly courts and 4 competitive courts with a queue rack system for each set of courts. It will be 4 on 4 off all the time, from morning to evening. Players will enter the courts on the bleacher side of the fence. This will help alleviate congestion on court and reduce people double or triple paddling down at the net to hog the court. There is also a WhatsApp group for Cupertino Pickleball Club where you get daily weather update and impromptu invites to play. Signs are posted around the courts for more information, but you can also ask any regulars.

Crowded during the Saturday sunset hours. The queue system seemed to work well.
