Pickleball City in Fremont is exactly what the Bay Area pickleball community needed — and it’s only getting started! From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place was built with heart and intention. It’s an indoor facility (goodbye, sunburns and wind delays!) with AC, lockers, and clean bathrooms — which already makes it stand out. The courts are well-maintained, the lighting is great, and there’s plenty of space to play without feeling cramped. What really makes Pickleball City special, though, is the vibe. This is a judgment-free, welcoming space where players of all levels — from complete beginners to seasoned competitors — can feel at home. The leadership is open to feedback and genuinely invested in elevating the player experience, which makes you feel like your voice matters and your game can grow here. The owners, an Asian woman–owned small business, have created a community-driven hub where people can connect, stay active, and have fun. Whether you’re there for open play, leagues, lessons, or just to hang out and meet new people, you’ll feel the energy and camaraderie right away. If you love pickleball (or are even a little curious about it), you need to check out Pickleball City. This place has so much potential for the community, and I’m excited to see it grow! 🏓💛
Fremont has needed an indoor pickleball facility for a while, and Pickleball City finally fills that gap. Pros: High-Quality Courts: Well-maintained with clear separation between them. Great Community: A friendly atmosphere with players who are genuinely passionate about the sport. Good for rec play: great for rec play during bad weather days. Pro Shop: A nice selection of gear and a great demo program where you can rent paddles to try out before deciding on a paddle. Cons: Limited Space: The biggest drawback is the lack of room around the court lines. There’s almost no space around the court boundaries making it difficult to swing fully without hitting a wall or fence. No chance of ATPs Not for Competitive Play: Due to the tight spacing, it isn't ideal for serious tournament prep or high-level matches. Pricing: Drop-in rates are a bit high, likely reflecting the high demand in the area. Conclusion: A great indoor spot for recreational play and a lifesaver during bad weather.
pickleball city offers great prices for 1st timers! lots of space for many people to play, the workers are very nice, communicative, and helpful if you have any questions! totally recommend this place if you love pickleball! :)
I came to this place for a senior DUPR tournament today. The place was nice & clean. The owners, Felicia & Vivian, were friendly and courteous; they even provided some donuts & coffee for us to fuel up before games. They have bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms to store stuffs while playing games. The floor of the Pickleball courts are cement. The net is heavy duty like tennis net. The ceiling is high enough for lobs. All courts have heavy duty fences on all 4 sides. The front door was opened plus a few fans were running to get the air circulate. The only draw backs are the side of the court is pretty narrow, so it's harder to return the ball when it hits the side lines, and not much room behind the baseline to return to deep serves. This place also offers a Titan ball machine (for $20/hr) if you want to rent it to do some drill. Overall, I think it's a good place to play Pickleball recreationally, and participating in DUPR games. P.S. check out their new Meo Cafe where their specialty drinks are Vietnamese deserts flavors. They made these flavors from scratch! So far I have tried the Macha & Tarro drink; this is very tasty drink.
Had a great time here last night. I thought there was plenty of space for the courts, and everything felt comfortable and well laid out. The vibe is amazing and the people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to.
