I've been a member for over a year. The management and fellow members go above and beyond to foster a sense community. It's a fantastic place to play and socialize for any skill level. If you want to be humbled respectfully while leaving your dignity intact, I accept all challengers. The beer selection is great as is the food menu.

Amazing place to play! Spacious interior, tons of courts, and the noise level is more tolerable here due to the very high ceiling. Even on really hot summer days, the temperature has been cool and comfortable. Also love the pro shop! Awesome selection of paddles and everything pickleball-related you could ask for. The open plays I've attended have been relaxed and welcoming. I want to give a special thank you to the wonderful front desk staff. All have been so friendly, kind, and helpful. I recently attended the Liveball clinic with Ralph and it was great. Would love to see more of those, by level, on the calendar.

So let’s just start the review by saying that I do not play pickleball and went here because I saw they had a bar while I was staying at the hotel that shared a parking lot with the pickle house. Granted it was in the height of a heatwave this summer, I went over to the pickle house in search of a cold beer and maybe to relax in the air conditioning and watch the Yankee game instead of sitting in the hotel room, bored. When I got to the pickle house and asked the guy at the desk how it all works, even though I don’t play pickleball or wasn’t really interested in playing, I wanted to know how it worked. The first thing I noticed was that it was pretty warm in there. The employee was nice and explained to me everything from how court rentals and paddle rentals worked to how you can put money on a card to get beer and just sit down at the tables and enjoy a beer or some food even if you weren’t going to play pickleball. Once I put money on a card to purchase a beer and walked deeper into the place, I realized it wasn’t just warm in there but extremely hot. It was like unbearably hot and honestly cooler outside even in the middle of a heat wave. As I saw some guys finish their pickleball match and come over for some beers, I asked them if it was always this hot in here. To which they replied something like “well we are in the midst of a heatwave but yes it’s always pretty warm in here but they do have fans and it beats playing out in the hot sun”. After two beers (and spending the money on my card) it was all I could bear and had to leave because of how unbelievably hot it was in there. As I left, the employee said, “leaving so soon” and I replied “yes it’s insanely hot in here, I don’t know how you are even working in here with it being this hot”. He then proceeded to tell me it’s only temporary because their AC wasn’t working. I just found it strange that the patrons there said that it was always warm in their (almost implying they don’t have AC) and also why they would even be open if it wasn’t working and that hot in there, I figured that’s some kind of health hazard. Also the kitchen said “closed for the season” which I was very confused to me because I thought to myself “when is the season they’re referring to” and I would think they would want to sell food especially when they sell alcohol there. Regardless of the heat issue, the place was really clean, seemed like a good time whether you play pickleball or just wanted to hang out like I did. The courts seemed really nice and new and there was lots to do in there including outdoor yard games like corn hole and a basketball hoop out back.
