Phelps Park

Super clean park in Winter Park, FL. The park has several different sections to make time worth it when you have a kid that likes to explore. One of pavilions were being used for a kids party, so there’s availability for that. Swings, restrooms, even a nice little book center for the parents. Park has additional open space if you want throw a baseball, or football around. Can’t forget about the basketball courts. Only one full court, but it’s well maintained.

Phelps Park is a wonderful place with so much to offer! The playground is spacious, well-maintained, and provides plenty of activities to keep kids entertained. My 4-year-old loves the variety of equipment and the beautiful, shaded areas make it a great spot for families to relax. However, I did notice a safety concern at the entry—there is a metal piece sticking out of the door handle, which could pose a risk, especially for little ones. My 4-year-old almost bumped his head on it. Hopefully, this can be addressed soon to ensure the park remains a safe and enjoyable place for everyone. Overall, it’s a fantastic park, and we’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful redo. We love the pirate ship design. This play at your own risk playground allows for play of all ages and abilities. Mulch makes for lots of scrapes when falling, but also great for endless food at the shop, as well a lots of money to pay with! Clean bathrooms with diaper changing stations on both sides. Swings on both sides of the playground make it easy to keep an eye out on siblings. Covered picnic pavilions make great party memories. @DangerDadRuggedDuck

My son absolutely loves Phelps parks. It’s a nice area to go have play dates. They have swings, slides and so much more. They have open field’s to run in and basketball courts and tennis courts. They also have easy to access bathrooms.

The park is well organized and maintained. The restroom facilities is good. My children always enjoy this park.
