I hosted my husband’s 50th birthday party at Opus yesterday. It was so much fun! It’s a stunningly beautiful facility. Ed and Helen have thought of everything! We had our own seating area with a tv to watch the Eagles game. Our friends cycled through playing on two courts. It was a great activity for our group! I highly recommend Opus for your next gathering of family or friends!

I took the 5 week beginner clinic and it was fantastic! Not only did I learn the basics so that I could begin to join beginner open play events, but truly began to build a new community of friends. It’s been great to meet new people in my community at open play events. Our family (25 of us) reserved courts for 2 hours the day after Christmas and we were so well taken care of by Ed and Helen. Our family had a BLAST playing pickle ball on the courts or playing board games at the seating area. This was such a fun way to spend time together over the holidays! Helen and Ed are the greatest hosts!

I had done a couple of pickleball clinics but when OPUS opened up within walking distance from my house AND offered a 5 week beginner clinic, i was sold! Helen and Ed are wonderful and so welcoming. Leonard, our instructor, was so patient with all of us and really broke down the game, the rules and the strategy in early digestible pieces. He always offered to extend each class and if he saw us outside of class, he always stopped to watch and provide valuable feedback. I have met some wonderful people and that was another reason i wanted to pick up this fun sport…the sense of community at OPUS is top notch! Highly recommend!!

A lovely, accessible pickleball space. I love the rest areas on the sides of the courts. The owner is friendly and welcoming. I grew up in the neighborhood and was home visiting family for the holidays and Opus was the perfect venue for me to reconnect with old friends and get some good exercise while doing so. Definitely coming back on my next visit.
