Yes, the forbidden word to all Manhattan residents comes to mind when watching/playing baseball up here in the North Meadow...the Suburbs😂 But honestly, you have no idea you're in the center of the greatest city in the world while looking at these ballfields

Central Park’s North Meadow is so, so beautiful!! The grassy fields of the North Meadow are sprawling + green. There are several baseball diamonds within North Meadow’s grounds, and there are adjacent walking paths surrounding the area. This is a stunning part of Central Park, accessible by the 97th Street Traverse! :-)

A lovely place to have a picnic. There are plenty of open spaces for Frisby play. Plus great large trees for shade.

Easier to find a parking spot close by... Close to the subway... Secluded... Easy access to public restrooms.... Best for actual social distancing.... Win... win..
