Maynard A Duryea Bay View Park

This charming playground offers beautiful views of the water and a peaceful setting perfect for young children. Across the street, you’ll find a lovely garden with a fountain, adding to the scenic atmosphere. The playground is partially shaded by several trees and features tables and benches designed for families with young kids. A covered pavilion provides additional seating, grills, and a water fountain. Please note that there are no public restrooms available on-site.

This park just reopened! We love it because it’s fenced in & because it has playground equipment that is lower to the ground and safer for toddlers. It also has a shaded pavilion with picnic tables. Free parking lot too. I did not see a restroom nearby.

Nice little park if your looking to spend time with kids. Located right next to City Hall the playground is designed with little children in mind for sure. It has plenty of picnic tables, a charcoal grill and even water fountains. However if your looking for trails to walk around through a park like some of the other City parks this will not do. Also bring next to the water I do wish that you could actually see the water however with the bushes you are not allowed to see any of it.

Happened to find this litte park and playground on accident one morning and we have been there a few more times since. Small fenced in playground with a few swings and slides. Small picnic tables inside the fence for kids. Large picnic tables and grills outside the fence. Decent water views but blocked alot by mangroves. Towards the northwest of the park is a small wooden walkway. Clean and well kept. Equipment in good, working condition.

We love this park!! It's such a nice cute hidden away little park. Just enough stuff for the kids. It's nicely shaded and theres a quiet little walking park across the street is a perfect picnic spot or somewhere just to take a quiet walk around and look at the flowers!
