We came for the splash pad, which was fun. They have racks for paddle boat storage, and a place to launch them. There is a pond that is a skating rink in the winter, and if I lived here I would absolutely take advantage of that. This is a park for only residents of the city, which feels a bit odd, but that also seems to be the way a lot of parks operate in this area.
Mighty. Patterson Park is a small park with a lot of options. A lakeside park it has a boardwalk and personal craft launch. The views of Lake Saint Clair are magnificent. The park also offers picnic areas, restrooms, water pad, play structures and open spaces. But it doesn’t stop there; it also has a golf putting and chipping practice area, pickle ball courts, a dog run and an exercise course!! Did I mention free parking and a rentable facility? All you need is a park pass to get in for a small fee every year. I think my favorite thing was reflection pool which I also forgot to list in my review.
This is a beautiful and peaceful park. It has a nice walkway by the water. The wooden playscape is very big and fun however it gets very hot in the summer heat. There is a big hill good for sledding down on the winter. The fountain gets turned into a little ice rink in the winter which I practice skating on.
The dog park is really big and always has lots of tennis balls, and a ball thrower you can use. There's also a couple frisbees. There's a great water fountain with a spigot and bowl on the ground for the dogs.
Park is not a public park (so I was told)*could be for residents in this area* but it was not made clear man at gate was rude. His tone gave you dont belong here.
