The cold plunge is a gem.. steam sauna is powerful (can get a bit too hot tho..). It's perfect for people who take sauna seriously. Their massage chairs and classes are good though the class offerings could be more diverse. The pool is ridiculously expensive in summer, not worth it.
I was visiting from out of town and the team at this Life Time was great. I wish I lived here because this gym was beautiful. It just reminded me why I will stay a lifetime member. The pool area was beautiful. The fitness floor was clean lots of room and I even went to the café and had lunch. LifeTime is a bit pricey, but it’s worth it.
The lifetime of sky is really nice especially in the pool where you can view the skyline from the pool. And every person was very friendly nice and nice staff. My only problem was I wish the spa area whirlpool and sauna Steemroom and cold plunge were in locker rooms.
THIS ISN’T A ATHLETIC COUNTRY CLUB IT’S A MASTERCLASS IN ABSURDITY! I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for years. I’ve been in and around some of the most exclusive venues in Saint-Tropez, Miami, Cannes, Paris, Dubai… and never not once have I seen a policy as unreasonable as the one this gym enforces. $330/month membership, and then I’m asked to pay an additional $250 just to access the rooftop pool. And today a perfect Sunday where I finally carved out a moment for myself (after working 7 days a week non-stop) to relax, read, and enjoy the sun I’m told I need to pay another $150 if I want to use the pool on the weekend. IT’S A JOKE !? At that price point, I expect the full luxury club experience: a DJ, food & beverage service, champagne options, elegant paper menus, a dedicated champagne list, trained staff, real ambiance something that actually makes me want to spend my money. Instead? A few lounge chairs. A pool. That’s it. Not exactly impressive, to be honest. Now let’s talk about the staff: untrained, uninformed, clearly uncomfortable when it comes to explaining the gym’s own internal policies. Every time I asked a question, I got the same reply: “It’s my first day.” And here’s the best part I heard that four times in three weeks… from the SAME person. The audacity is next-level. I get it, the gym sees a lot of members, but telling a regular member four times that it’s your first day? That’s prank-show material. Someone cue the hidden cameras. I guess it’s a tactic to avoid having to face clients when the rules are indefensible. Please, take the time to revisit your policies, your understanding of “luxury”, and most importantly, what real hospitality actually means. There are other gyms in NYC at the same price point that provide far better service, without trying to squeeze every last dollar out of their members with nonsensical add-ons. And if you’re struggling to understand what serving a high-end clientele truly looks like, feel free to reach out. You can drop your email as a reply to this review, or contact me directly. I’d be happy to offer you a personalized audit, or even set up a meeting to show you how to double your revenue by applying a few simple, hospitality-based principles without having to frustrate your members with absurd and counterproductive ideas. PS : The photo added to the commentary shows you your empty pool on a Sunday afternoon under a spike of heat and a great sun by the cause of your absurd choices.
High prices are synonymous with Lifetime, and in this era where ordinary people don't earn much money, this company continues to raise its prices. It can't compete with high-end gyms, and its mid-range offerings are so expensive they're almost reaching high-end gym prices. Although there are many facilities, I believe that 80% of the members don't actually use all of them. If you've ever been to this gym, you'll understand what I mean.
