Lake Boren Park

Nicely maintained park with all amenities. Can swim in Lake Boren as there’s docks with ladders to come out of water. Playgrounds, 🎾 , 2volleyball🏐 nets, basketball 🏀 courts, real bathrooms-bath🚽🚻 and 3 handicapped ♿️parking spaces in a small lot. Most park off street as it’s all shaded by trees 🌲. Supports concrete walking walkways can roll too. Many family picnics🧑🧑🧒🧒🧑🧑🧒 and an enclosed large picnic area. Dogs welcome but too busy in summer to let dogs off leash here. They can wade in the water etc tho.
Stopped by Lake Boren Park on a sunny Saturday afternoon for the first time, and it turned out to be a great spot for the kids. The playground was well-suited for a range of ages, with swings, a see-saw, and even a small climbing wall to keep them entertained. There was plenty of open grass for families to lay out picnic blankets, and a covered area that was bustling with what looked like a birthday party or community event. The park also has solid amenities like tennis courts, a volleyball area, and a basketball court for older kids and adults. I especially enjoyed the shaded walking paths, which offered a nice break from the sun. The one downside was the bathroom. It was in poor condition and definitely could use some upkeep. Parking was available but packed due to the nice weather, so we had to park a short walk away. JY review
Nice playground. Good place to take a walk and grab a bite to eat if hungry. Plenty of parking.
What a gorgeous Park! Not only is it accessible and beautiful, but it also has several strong covered structures with picnic tables for inclement weather.
It's a nice place to spend time in the evening and also in the morning. A fishing deck is also there . Tennis court, basketball ball, pickle ball and volleyball are all available there . Play area for children is also there . Altogether a nice place for families to spend time.
