Best Y in the triangle area. The hip thrust machine and 6+ squat racks and 4+ bench presses make even busy days have seamless workouts. Equipment is up-to-date, facilities are clean and modern, and the open concept makes the best use of the space. I personally never used the pool or daycare, so I can’t speak to that. Only areas I saw for improvement are the A/C system that gives out from time to time in the peak summer months, and I would love to see a second smith machine. I moved away and still think about this gym over a year later.

The craft family YMCA is always clean, all the equipment always works, the staff are super friendly and professional, and they even have fresh coffee that you can make an individual packet of which is super nice. It always smells fresh. I’ve never experienced anything bad that I can find and I’m a very picky strict person. If you read my reviews you’ll see that so 5 Stars! to craft family staff and everybody that works there! Bravo!

I am posting this for both Kraft and Taylor.. Great locations, friendly staff.. classes are very nice.. they do not penalize people for arriving few minutes late like other locations.. love these two places .. they make the membership worth every penny..

I've been going to this location for over a year now and I love the childcare they offer, it's clean and for most part the staff is friendly. But I've had a couple of situations where they came and told me to not scroll on my phone. I checked my phone to make sure the daycare did not need me to come get my son and to respond quickly to a message. I was in-between sets, probably 5 secs looking at my phone. But I was compliant and put my phone away. Both times I looked around and noticed 5+ people scrolling on their phones, all of which spent minutes on them. Sitting on the machines looking down at their phones. Once being told is fine, but second time being told and only telling me while the girl in front of me sitting on the machine have been on her phone since I started my set. Maybe if you're going to uphold a policy make sure it's being told to everyone there.

The lady at the front desk gave me an amazing tour yesterday while I wrangled my toddler. She didn't seem at all fazed that my attention was split. I look forward to joining, it feels very welcoming.
