I absolutely loved my experience at Jumbo’s Pickleball. From day one, the sense of community stood out. It is rare to find a place where you can walk in any day of the week and immediately feel welcomed, recognized, and pulled into great games with people at your level. The programming is excellent, with a wide variety of options that make it easy to find consistently high quality play. The courts are well maintained, the hours are accessible, and the range of skill levels ensures competitive and enjoyable matches every time. I always felt the membership was well worth the price. The staff is friendly, supportive, and clearly invested in creating a positive environment. Beyond the logistics, Jumbo’s became a place where I could leave work stress behind, get real exercise, and laugh and joke with a group of genuinely kind people while playing my favorite sport. I have unfortunately had to move away from Portland, but Jumbo’s is what I will miss most about living there. Being able to join a consistent group of players, be greeted by familiar faces, and jump straight into excellent pickleball was something special. I am very grateful for the time I spent there and the community that made it feel like home.

It was my first and last time coming here. I found it expensive for what I played. Getting here is a bit of a maze and they have some terrible hours for open play and more so for those that work late. I will spend my money elsewhere where they have better hours and pricing. The peoples court has similar programs with better pricing and more options.

If I could rate this place negative stars, I would. Honestly, I’ve had more fun waiting in line at the DMV. Drove all the way from Vancouver thinking we’d have a decent time — booked in advance, made plans, and even brought a buddy. What we got instead was the world’s worst episode of “Guess If They’re Open.” Spoiler: they weren’t. Doors were locked like they were guarding national secrets, and not a single staff member in sight. No lights, no signs, no soul. Just the cold, brutal silence of disappointment. We stood outside for 30+ minutes, like a couple of idiots auditioning for the role of “extra #3” in a zombie movie — blank stares, kicking gravel, and questioning every life choice that led us here. I’ve had more human interaction at a vending machine. Professionalism? Non-existent. Hospitality? What’s that? It felt like the owners collectively ghosted the building and moved to a different planet. You’d think we were trying to break into Fort Knox the way they ignored us. Not even a “we're closed” sign or a pigeon to deliver the bad news. Just silence and shame. Avoid this place like it’s cursed. Honestly, save yourself the drive, the gas, and the will to live. Set up a net in your backyard, grab a couple of lawn chairs and a badminton racket, and you’ll have a 1000% better experience — plus, you won’t feel like you're trespassing on the set of Chernobyl: The Sports Facility Edition. This place is an absolute joke, and the punchline is your time and money.

Jumbo’s is my go to spot for pickleball. The membership is an excellent deal for regular players. It’s convenient location, well run programs, and super friendly staff keep me coming back.

First time visiting. Brought my 9 and 11 year old and I would say it’s not kid friendly. Website says they have food. They do not. They have some chips, granola bar. Website says they have alcohol. They had literally one beer. Not just one type but one physical beer and then some cans of some type of drink and a seltzer. I bought the seltzer and it was not good. When I asked what it was the staff did not know. The “boundaries” between courts are very low and have a huge opening in the middle causing lots of balls into other courts. The courts are very nice and there is a ton of free parking. The other folks playing seemed to be really good players. I felt very self conscious being there with kids.
