Hathaway Park Pickleball

This was our first time playing pickleball. The courts were busy on a Sunday afternoon. People were very friendly and we had a chance to try it out. Since we are newbies, we only practiced for about 30 minutes. I look forward to playing against other couples once I know what I am doing.
Before it was a Pickle Ball court, it was the GREENS 💚 beautiful, safe, fun and great picnic area 😀
Six newer courts all in great condition, and all separated by short fences (less interference between adjacent courts). Typically there are open courts and plenty of parking, unless you go when one of the clubs is playing (check PlayTime Scheduler). I have been playing for about a year now... this is the best free facility I have found to date, I think it may be the best in the greater Portland metro... especially now that Lake Oswego closed their six-court facility.
I was next to the Pickleball court. Some of us have community garden spaces, prices very depending if your ADA, senior or younger, also a key fee. Lovely place. High cyclone fence and a locked gate.
