Visited Greenville Pickleball Academy today for their Drop-In session, which starts at 7 AM and runs for about 3.5 hours. When I arrived around 8, there were only about three players, but by 8:15 the courts filled up to around twelve, making it a great turnout. I liked how the academy organized round-robin matches and displayed them on the TV — a nice touch for keeping things moving. While playing, I noticed the fence could be moved back by about half a foot to a foot, since I hit it twice on deep serves. The lights also felt a bit too bright at first, though I eventually got used to them. Overall, I really enjoyed the games today and had a great first experience.

My husband and I are in town visiting relatives for Thanksgiving. We came to Pickleball Academy for their first morning session. We had a blast. The courts are excellent — good surface, nets and fencing. We played with and met many nice, good players. Kramer and Quentin that run the place are great players and super nice; they kindly filled in when there was an empty spot on the courts. I was intrigued by, and now really like, the computer-generated team- and court-assignments. It keeps things moving and ensures you meet and play with many different players. We’re supposed to be visiting the relatives, but, we’re going to try to come again tomorrow (hahaha) and definitely we’ll come whenever we’re in Greenville — plus, we’ll look for other Pickleball Academys on our travels.

Visited from out of town and played one of the 4.0 mixed sessions - great experience - they put the matchups on the tv screen and keep the action moving. Great value!

Very disappointed with rotating partner round robin. Being in the 4.0+ round robin group, I would have thought people would have been able to sustain rallies longer than a few shots. Explaining rules should not be occurring at that level. Might as well be considered open play. I understand it’s difficult to distinguish between levels but there were significant skill level differences which makes playing less fun. I have nothing against newer players. I very much encourage them! But when I pay money expecting to be playing with people similar in skill level. In that aspect, I am quite disappointed. On a positive note, they are very nice courts! Quality playing surface, very nice staff and overall nice facility.

I recently visited the newly opened pickleball facility, and I was genuinely impressed from the moment I walked in. The courts are clean, bright, and well-maintained, with plenty of space to move around comfortably. The atmosphere is welcoming, whether you’re a seasoned player or just getting started. The staff was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. You can tell they really care about creating a place the community can enjoy. The equipment was in great condition, and the layout made it easy to jump right into a game without feeling crowded. Overall, it was an awesome place to play, and I’m excited to go back. If you’re looking for a fun, energetic spot to enjoy pickleball, this facility is definitely worth checking out!
