Garfield Park

Great park with an interesting walking path and poop bag dispensers for your dog. One thing to note, the playground is closed for maintenance Monday and Friday from 7am to 9am.

I was hired to face-paint at a kids party. Very friendly parents. The kids enjoyed their face-paint designs.

Garfield Park is located in south Pasadena. It's a great park where couples and families gather to stroll beneath the shade of ancient trees. Although this isn’t a large park, it’s dog friendly and designed to be used by those in need of a place to enjoy the day. The park features well-maintained pathways, a children's playground, and spacious grassy areas for picnics and public events. In addition, there's a charming gazebo often used for small community activities and gatherings. I attended the free summer festival Shakespeare by the Sea at Garfield Park. This wasn’t just a wonderful way to spend my Sunday evening but a fantastic admission free theatrical event. And a great opportunity to see and experience Shakespeare. The park's walking paths are an invitation for visitors to enjoy the surroundings in a safe and clean place. This is a nice park that’s well landscaped with a wonderful play area for young families of all ages. I like kids… so I think the sounds of children playing add to the peaceful atmosphere.

Wonderful neighborhood park that is always clean, safe, and well kept. There are always families with young children running around after school or on the weekends. It’s also a great place to walk or play with your dog since they have many trash bins all over the park and doggy poop bags. There’s a freelibrary at the entrance of the park and tennis courts on the opposite end. There are bathrooms that are cleaned regularly and plenty of water fountains around the park. Honestly, such a lovely park.

This is one of those small, well-kept neighborhood parks that locals adore. Shaded playground, rose garden, and a clean restroom—simple but everything works. Street parking’s usually a breeze. I like sitting under the massive trees with a to-go tea from nearby. You’ll see lots of dogs and toddlers sharing space politely. Perfect reset in the middle of town
