Flaherty Park Pickleball courts

Great pickleball courts. Wake Forest hosted a great tournament and temporarily taped up tennis courts to have plenty of Pickleball courts.

Very busy this morning with lots of people playing and having fun. The courts are surrounded by a very high fence. Oh, and they have lighting available! Plenty of parking here.

Enjoyed the pickleball courts, but the courts are frequently full, so for 5 stars, it would be nice to have more pickleballs courts. 4 more courts would be great. But overall, the park is nice and in a great location for all of Wake Forest residents to access and use.

Open hours in the morning are taken over by the Pickleball Club. All courts are taken and a person has to stand in a queue and take his/her partner from the queue. Players advance thru all courts so there is no court available for those wishing NOT to participate in the Club's format. Is this the regulation format of the Wake Forest park department regarding open hours on the courts? Is this the regulation of the Flaherty courts? Is this the regulation of the Pickleball Club at Flaherty?

Place had lots of activity. Folks enjoying the weather and sports.
