This park has everything that I look for in a park. However my children rated it a 4. They said it was cool but could’ve had more equipment in the play area. Now as a mom, it checked multiple boxes. Parking: spacious parking, there are actually two parking lots. I didn’t drive to see how to access the second parking lot but I saw it while walking around. The first parking lot is right by the shelter and playground. The second lot is closer to the tennis courts. Bathroom: I actually had to ask about this because I didn’t see any signs indicating a bathroom on the shelter. I walked right past it, but there is one. There may be a second but the other door was locked so I don’t now for sure. Seating: there is a picnic area with a good amount of picnic tables as well has benches throughout the playground, horseshoe area and around the playground path. Play structure: there is a nice sized playground. The age listed for play is 5-12. There is not a toddler area. My 3 year old navigated the structure well but fall potential was there. There are two slides and a lot of things to hang from. It had a ninja course vibe. It’s also covered but my son said some of the fixtures were still quite hot. If you walk a little further on the path there are 4 swings (2 bucket, 2 regular). Extras: there are 3 tennis courts in a fenced area. There is a also a baseball field and basketball court with 4 goals. A walking path surrounds the baseball field weigh all other amenities on the outside. The path is 1/4 a mile. There’s an area for horseshoes but I didn’t actually see any horseshoes so bring your own. Overall it’s a nice park. It wasn’t crowded. You can play basketball, tennis, baseball, at the playground or walk and enjoy the weather! I saw some people come out of the woods so maybe a trail as well! This mama would give it a 5 but giving it a 4 because my children were ready to go after about 30 minutes and they wish there was more options on the play structure.
Need seating and restrooms near tennis courts. Since schools are now using fir matches. Beautiful courts and great fencing. A beautiful park.
Great park! The have tennis courts and I just saw that the 6 new pickleball courts look to be built but not open yet. Anyone know when the new courts will be open?
1/4 mile paved loop - they have 3 tennis courts that are often occupied by classes of all ages. They are adding 3 but the construction doesn't get in the way. There are basketball courts which get some use but there is always one available. Ive not seen anyone on the baseball field but I've not been on a weekend. Overall, there are always some people there so it feels safe but Its never been too crowded when Ive been there (unless you are looking to play tennis)
Very clean, all equipment maintained, and softball field is huge. Nice paved track. Tennis courts in moderately good shape, basketball courts, and a great playground with fresh mulch
