DTL | Down the Line Sports Center

DTL did the absolute best they could with this facility in Fairfax. With limited spacing they created a wonderful environment for people to play indoors away from the elements. It’s a small quaint he had extremely cozy and welcoming place to play pickle ball.

Ceilings are very low so it's hard to get a proper lob in. There are only 3 courts in the facility. The leagues were poorly run and the guys at the front desk (except Brandon) weren't very with it - they were very disinterested and acted like they didn't want to be there. The only cool thing about this facility is the replay feature otherwise skip it and go to Dill Dinkers in Manassas or Chantilly.

Booked a 90min private lesson for a group of four people. Coach John Vaught was great, took the time to explain strategy, technique, and scoring. Our group (of beginners) walked away with a comprehensive understanding of the game. The facility was magnificent. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating upon arrival. I especially liked how our group name was displayed on the electronic video scoreboard, adding to the attention to detail that heightened the ambiance. Will do this again!!!

I’m so glad this pickleball facility exists! I absolutely love their classes—the coaches are friendly and approachable, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. One of my favorite offerings is their OpenPlay+ program, which includes 1 hour of drills with a coach followed by 1 hour of open play. I find it so much better than just doing 2 or 3 hours of regular open play—it’s the perfect balance of learning and playing. While there aren’t a lot of courts (about four and a half), the quality of the experience more than makes up for it. The people who come here are incredibly kind and friendly, which is the most important thing to me. It’s a great place to enjoy pickleball and connect with others. Highly recommended!

Awesome facility! Richard at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating to my unforeseen circumstances. Lee Ann is an excellent, funny, and interactive instructor. Will definitely sign up for additional classes and even hop on a open play session.
