I had the pleasure of learning to play pickleball in an early clinic led by Manny Boya at Cross Court. I think the paint was still wet in the facility as Manny took a group of newbies and showed us the game. That expert coaching continues today with Katie, Jerome, and Matt, whether leading clinics, 3 and a pro, cardio pickleball ﮩ٨ـﮩ♡ﮩ٨ـ♡ﮩ٨ـﮩ or private lessons on skills and shot mechanics. Friendly staff make it easy to book lessons court time.
I started playing pickleball at Cross Court when I retired, about a year ago. I could not be happier with my choice. I began with Cardio classes, then added classes and clinics focused on skill development and strategy. The two leading coaches, Katie and Jerome, have helped me learn, advance, and steadily move up through the ranks. They are both excellent teachers, great communicators, and all-around good humans who are always positive and encouraging. They are also focused on safety, which is terrific given the high injury rate. The front desk staff are friendly, always accommodating, and helpful. Other members are friendly and welcoming, and I've made some new friends there. I still take clinics with both Katie and Jerome, and also play regularly in Open Plays and one of the Leagues. I highly recommend Cross Court for anyone looking to learn the basics of Pickleball in a safe, friendly, and encouraging environment.
Been a member for a few years now, It's a great facility. They have something for all levels, The staff is fantastic! This is the place you will excel in Pickel Ball if you want. Thank you Cross Court , it's been a great experience so far.
I have been going to Cross Court Pickleball and taking a clinic with Katie for about one year. It’s been so much fun and I’ve learned so many skills that allow me to feel confident in my game. And in addition, I’ve met some amazing people.
Great pickleball place, but as others have said, it's quite busy. They have open plays, clinics, courts for reservations, great instructors. People are very friendly, although sometimes some can be intense at the higher levels. There are all ranges of players from beginners to advanced. You need to sign up early (2 weeks in advance) to guarantee you get into classes, courts, clinics even more so. Otherwise, there are usually some openings, depending on how flexible your schedule is. Regarding another comment about the difficulty of getting verified (to get placed into groups like 3.0-3.4, 3.5-3.9). It's very easy, and I've helped about 10 friends get verified. Just click on any of the verified open plays, and there is an email contact. Just email the contact Catherine. She's usually answered same day and is very responsive about helping people get rated. Staff is great, supportive. The place is very well run. I've been playing here for 2 years without a hitch, which is pretty amazing.
