Cottages Hill New Brighton Park

Very cool mural on the walls of this playground.

Nice fairly big playground for kids, empty when I went after-school, baby swings, some shade for the summer, sprinklers, 4 pickleball courts, no bathrooms but 1 portapotty setup. Surrounded by trees and slight city view. Update: lots of mosquitos.

Unfortunately, the smell of weed being smoked while we were playing pickleball was a huge turnoff. Considering there is a playground right there, it’s unfortunate that people as so inconsiderate. Courts were just fine.

Came here for pickleball. Friendly folks and courts were clean.

The park was fine enough by my standards but my 10 year old labeled it boring. There was a lot of bugs but I don't fault the park just wish they would spray the area.
