Clayton Community Center

Great place to enjoy a nice brisk walk around the indoor track.. No Gym rats! This is a much older more settled environment. That's the reason I joined. The people are nice the fee is reasonable and the facility is clean!

Beautiful facilities but ... I went for compete in the NC State Senior Games in Bocce Ball. Lots of Seniors there competing and the doors to the facility closest to the courts where the bathrooms were were locked. Had to walk around the entire building to the front door to get in. I talked to staff about opening the door to make it easier and they said they couldn't for fire code reasons. All the outdoor courts are affected buy this inconvenience. Pickleball, Shuffleboard, Basketball.

I absolutely love playing volleyball with my daughter here during open gym times! I was very pleased when they did away with adults only volleyball. The facility is great although they are down one net at the moment. I appreciated that when I suggested they put the net on one side instead of the middle of the gym he followed through with it the next volleyball open gym. This gave people a court to play on and the other side we used for peppering. The people that work here are super friendly and helpful.

The Clayton Community Center is always awesome. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable & the facilities are clean and welcoming. I have zero suggestions for improvement beyond expanding the exercise area into a full-sized gym!

Large lovely facility with plenty of parking including handicap parking and handicapped accessible entrance. They have classes such as clay hand- building, tone and strength, Zumba for adults and lots of classes for child of all ages.
