Centennial Recreation Center (CRC)

I've been using the CRC since it opened. They have grown and adapted to the needs of Morgan Hill ever since. I mainly use this for the gym and exercise classes. I used to use the indoor pool when my son was younger. My elderly mother used the Senior Center as well. The CRC also does a nice job in hiring good people to work in the facility. All of my interactions have been positive.

I love this place, sign up and you have access to indoor and outdoor pool where you have 25m lap swim and once a week 50m lap swim. Great gym to work out for families and a 1 hour day care center for kids. Opens early at 4:30 Definitely a must in Morgan Hill area to train.

This is my first experience with a CRC since returning to California. I have to say I am surprised at the inability of community interaction. Maybe if those who worked there were friendly, then maybe everyone wouldn't look so depressed. I am used to YMCAs all over the United States. Friendly environment all around. Everytime i come into the Morgan Hill CRC it takes forever for them to find my information. And I must be invisible because the same people at the desk act as though it is the first time they ever saw me. Today I came in to get the ymca tags I have been waiting to get for about 6 weeks. CRC prides themselves on this issue because it's YMCA that issues them, so it's not their problem. I came in to let my boys swim and was told I needed to show my drivers license for the umpteenth time. I said it is in the car, you know me. Of course I had to take another 5 minutes to go get it and then return it to my car. Upon returning to the counter with my ID the lady said, thank you, we appreciate you. My response was: now you finally appreciate me? The best thing this company could do is either train your employees, fire them, or close your business down. I am also a fitness trainer. I run into alot of people who think my opinion matters. Start truly appreciating customers before you lose enough to lose your jobs. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because there is a pool there. Otherwise it would have no stars.

The pool and group x are amazing! The exercise equipment and weights are replaced often and up to date and clean!
