Braddock Pickleball (Open Play)

I come to James J. Braddock North Hudson County Park in North Bergen at least once a week, and it’s one of my favorite spots to reset. The park is huge—167 acres—with Woodcliff Lake and skyline views of Manhattan, plus well-kept paths for running or a relaxed walk. There’s a lot to do: tennis and pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts, soccer/football fields, multiple playgrounds, and a fenced dog park. Picnic areas are easy to find, and overall the grounds are maintained really well year-round. If you want nature and recreation in one place, this park delivers.
