This review was sent to us via email. I want to give a shout out to John and Melissa Ballenger for investing in an amazing indoor pickleball facility in East Mount Vernon, namely Big Rock Pickleball. They spent the extra time and money to create a first-class facility. Why do I say that? Well for starters it has exceptional lighting, I never had a problem seeing the ball, its heated and cooled as needed, no need for heavy gloves or the alternative, cold and stiff fingers, the single court is perfectly laid out, no expense spared and yet their rates at just $20 an hour for the whole facility ($5.00 a player) is exceptionally low. For example, Pickleball Kingdom charges $15 an hour per person or three times as much. So it’s a great place to drill and play and now more than ever because they offer Save My Play and PB Vision. Save My Play uses special cameras and software to record sessions with AI automatically trimming downtime and saving top highlights. PB Vision tracks every shot, player movement, and court position using AI and computer vision. It provides personalized feedback on strengths and weaknesses. It visualizes shot trajectories in 3D, allowing players to understand the arc, depth, and placement of drives, drops, and lobs. It measures serve accuracy and depth, revealing patterns and areas for strategic improvement. It also tracks return success rate and placement to optimize rally openings. It does even more, too much to write about here. All I can say is that this is a great tool that can help you become a better player, and besides its fun. Very nice indoor court. Easy to find, too! Melissa is a wonderfully patient coach who is knowledgeable and encouraging. She has helped me learn how to play and keep it fun along the way!

Great new facility. We’ll lit with climate control. An excellent option for cold winter or hot summer play.

What an amazing court! I have played in so many different indoor pickleball courts, and this one is honestly one of the best. Enough spacing from the court to the walls, and the surface is tournament approved. I will definitely come back here.

What a perfect place to play on cold or hot days. Really nice court, excellent lighting, heat, air conditioning, windows for fresh air. I highly recommend Big Rock Pickleball.
