Bay View Family YMCA

Hands down the best Y around. May be the smallest and possibly the oldest but what i'm sure about its the best. Friendly folks, clean facility and hot sauna, great property inside and out with amazing trails that'll lead you right to the bay. The summer camp for the kids here is by far superior with an excellent & attentive caring staff, no doubt worth every penny. So if you dont like nice people go elsewhere !

All of my children have experienced Camp Bayview and LOVE IT! Highly recommend! There is so much activities for them to choose from. My children come home exhausted from fun and learning. I swear the sun grows them because every time I pick them up from camp they look bigger and bigger 😔 it's a good thing being know they are getting experience and making friendships that will mature them for their individual lives. Camp Bayview staff work well with one another especially parents. And you can reach them in real time via email, they are quick to respond. If you're looking for a summer camp for your child(ren) to attend look no further THIS is the one! Side note book early like January/February for the summer because spots fill up quickly! You'll be thankful later 😉

This is a decent YMCA. It feels a little bit like a remodeled school with the small hallways. I wish they had a kids pool which is a bummer. Gyms are nice. Hot tub/sauna and an outside pool seems awesome. The staff that checked me in was a bit rude. Checked in the person in front of me and then when I walked up was ‘busy’ on the computer without saying anything for about 30 seconds. A bit awkward. Seems like a less busy facility then others which is nice but it’s obvious why. Might try it on the weekends when the east side facility is slammed full.

Camp Bay View staff are hands down the best. They are always engaged, positive and consistent. My kids have attended many camps and Bay View remains their favorite because of the people.

Adding an additional review. I really like the Bayview YMCA. The Staff is friendly and the facilities are clean. There's plenty of equipment, weights are organized and easily accessible. At the new bigger branches where the staff are also friendly, I find they are often very crowded and I can't always get on the bench or machine I planned to use.
