UPDATED 2025: dated and dirty facility, not safe! Lots of locker break-ins, run of the mill gym charging country club pricing. Mgmt changed business model allowing pods of eight to pay as a group making it seems like a ‘discount’. USED TO BE: Conveniently located just below Coit Tower, indoor pool and Cheryl is a fun body pump instructor!

Great facilities, nice front desk people. If you can afford the membership, I highly recommend. Tag along a pay as a guest of someone if you need to try it out. But it's a good indoor tennis place for when the weather outside isn't cooperatingA

Toured this location today and it looked fantastic. Plenty of tennis and pickleball courts, lots of programming, a ball machine available, etc. etc. etc. Weston their tennis director was great as was the other guy I met (forgot his name). I won't be joining -- the actual initiation fee is $2500 for the option including all racquet sports, not the $300 I was initially quoted -- but that's not these guys' fault.

They keep changing the hours. The place was packed at 7 AM and then with barely any notice they decided to move the opening hours to 8 AM. All the other bay clubs open at 7 AM because logically you will try and use it before work. Losing the 7-8 AM slot essentially means you can't play before work anymore.

I joined Bay club in April 2023, and since then, the monthly dues have skyrocketed by 50% without any valid reason. The management is completely out of touch with its members' needs and concerns. Despite these outrageous fee hikes, there has been little investment in upgrading or improving the facilities. To add insult to injury, they've introduced court cancellation and late fees to continue harassing members. The club's management is a total mess. They barely communicate with members and couldn't care less about soliciting feedback to improve the membership experience. It’s been maddening for many of us trying to get basic issues fixed, like ensuring the Bay Club App Court Reservation system accurately shows which courts are open play versus reserved. Simple tasks like these should be handled effortlessly, but here, they're a nightmare. I advise against joining if you're looking for a consistent and fair membership experience.
