Aspinwall Recreational Area

I drove an hour and 10 minutes to watch my nephew and nieces t-ball game. Before I left I looked online and saw that they had a dog park. When I got there I saw nothing but no dog allowed signs. I was not going to leave my dogs (family) In The car. So I did take them in so I could see my niece and nephews TEE BALL game. I am responsible and clean up after my dogs. When I left the park an Aspinwall police officer meet me right at a no dogs allowed sign and said "Sir, these signs are everywhere." I told him the situation and he said " We don't want them around here." I take it that Aspinwall is not a dog friendly town and they don't want them in their town according to the police officer I encountered. I would have given them 0 stars if I could! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ASPINWALL AND DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE SPEND TIME OR MONEY IN THAT TOWN. I FEEL THEY DO NOT LIKE STRANGERS.

Fantastic rec area with 2 ballfields, basketball court, and great playground for young ones right alongside the highway exit for Highland Park Bridge

Our kids love the challenges of this park. They have a very large modern play structure which is really great for climbing. The water feature is simple, but definitely does the job! There's a very nice heavily shaded play area as well, for the hot summer months.

I've seen this park driving past on 28 and always wanted to bring my 2 year old. I was really impressed by the quality and creativity of the equipment and that there are two separate areas based on age groups. Wish the fountain went up higher but was otherwise great!

This is a great dog park! Today though, (3/24/21) about 3:30pm the guy came by to empty the trash and while me and my dog were the only ones there at the time — he left the outer gate unlocked and partially open when he left. I watched him just haphazardly push it and walk away. Not good. Wish I would have been able to video him!
